Belem - London
The 3-masted barque sailing ship Belem, seen here on the Thames in the pool of London during the Olympics. Now a fully restored sailing training ship and once again French owned, this beautiful ship has a chequered history and was originally a cargo ship used to transport sugar from the West Indies and coffee from Brazil back to Nantes in France during the late 1800 and early 1900's.
